Subaru offers 4 types of cargo carriers in 2 different styles. The roof cargo carrier comes in 13 cubic feet or 16 cubic feet. It opens from the rear to accommodate loading from three sides. The 16 cubic feet long carrier can hold much longer cargo such as cross-country skis. Both units lock from the outside.
The other style available is the roof cargo basket which is constructed of vinyl-coated steel and comes with a stretch net and hooks. The heavy-duty version is constructed of powder-coated steel.
