We are excited to welcome Jimmy Love as the newest Subaru Technician in the Service department. Jimmy has been in the auto industry since he graduated high school in 1990. He grew up in Charlotte watching all the NASCAR races. Once in high school he was introduced to automotive mechanics where he took classes for 3 years and went on to study at Central Piedmont Community College. He started working right away. He has managed several Goodyear stores, worked for franchised dealerships and owned and operated an independent garage.

Jimmy's first car was a Ford Ranger. From there his love of Camaros and desire to fix things took off and he started buying vehicles to repair and resell. "Over the years I have bought, repaired and sold around 100 cars. My favorite repair was on a '70 Camaro that I bought for $300. I rebuilt the engine, got it running again, redid all the interior then sold the car for $5,000! I really like the body style of the Camaro. The '69 and '70 model years played a big part in my generation growing up. I like the idea that that I can buy an old car that has been sitting in a field getting all rusty and within a short time bring it back to life!" says Jimmy.

No doubt all the experience Jimmy has in the auto industry will be put to good use and benefit our Service department. "I love a challenge and trying new things. I'm looking forward to working on Subaru's. It's the one brand that you never hear technicians complain about, every part of the vehicle is built solid and strong."
