Many of our service customers will recognize this month's featured Service employee, John Falk. John has worked with our automotive group since joining the auto industry in 1998 when he was looking for a career change. With 16 years of loyal service we truly value John and all he has done to keep our service department going.
John has two children, a boy and a girl ages 27 and 23. He is an avid billiards player and enjoys playing with a local league.
First cars are always enjoyable to look back at. John's first car was a Chevy Camero that he enjoyed driving. As for a life motto John says, "Enjoy everyday, tomorrow is not guaranteed."
A nice benefit to 16 years of service is that John knows his regular customers by name. "I like working in the service department because you meet a lot of people. It's important to remember that the customer always comes first," says John. When asked about some of his most memorable customers, John comments "We have several customers that have 5 or more vehicles that they regularly service with us. We really appreciate their loyalty."
While we service all makes and models a large part of our service department is Subaru focused. "Subaru's are very good cars. They are dependable and safe. Customers notice that the Subaru maintenance schedule is very reasonable, which is an added bonus for the customer. I've seen first hand how following the manufactures recommend maintenance schedule no matter what the brand, can prevent needing major repairs down the road. Some of the oldest Subaru's we have worked on have had upwards of 250,000-350,000 miles and were in for a simple oil change and tire rotation!" relates John.
David Butler the Service Manager commented on working with John. "John has been an integral part of the service department at South Blvd since 2002 (he started at our Independence location in 1998). John is very customer oriented and does everything he can to take care of our customers. You will almost always find John on our service lane eager to wait on you and take care of your Subaru or any other vehicles in your family."
